Philippine health officials have said the death of three children could be linked to the dengue fever drug, Dengvaxia Last December, the Philippine Department of Health halted the use of the vaccine in its dengue fever vaccination program

A panel of experts from Philippine General Hospital conducted a review of 14 cases where children died after taking the vaccine On Feb 2, Department of Health Undersecretary Enrique Domingo noted three of the cases were discovered to have causal association and two of the deaths were because the vaccine had failed However, head of the panel, Dr Juliet Sio-Aguilar said it cannot be determined for sure if Dengvaxia was the cause of death
