AdvoCare Insurance Services has been helping individuals, families, small employer groups, and senior citizens get affordable insurance coverage for over 12 years.

Recently, our agency pledged our support to the California Alzheimer’s Association. Alzheimer’s is a fatal disease that cannot be prevented, cured, or even slowed. Worldwide, 47 million people are living with the disease, and without any changes, that number will grow to 76 million by 2030.

Currently, there are 588,208 Californians over 55 and living with the disease. Some of them are our clients and members of families of close friends who have fallen victim to this terrible disease. Indeed, my own parents both suffered from “dementia” or Alzheimer’s disease.

Many assume that if one becomes ill with Alzheimer’s they could rely on Medicare or a government sponsored program to provide care for their loved-ones. Unfortunately, help from these sources is often not available, or just plain not enough. Most often the burden of providing care falls upon the spouse and close family members.

No one ever beats Alzheimer’s disease. The disease always wins. But there is hope that better treatments, maybe even a vaccine, can be found. It may take years. And it will cost a great deal of money to support the research.

Right now, your gift can go twice as far in the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease. A generous donor has agreed to match your gift – but we need your help to meet the Spring Matching Gift Challenge before June 15 when the gift match expires. Please give today.

The long-term costs of providing care for a loved-one with Alzheimer’s can be financially devastating. Choosing a Long-Term Care Insurance policy can be both difficult and time-consuming. We will help you go through every step of the of the selection process to make sure that you choose the policy that is best for your unique family situation and budget. We can get it done!
